Who we are

Vibez Emotion makes electronic music events in Dublin. Vibez Emotion Limited, based in Dublin, Ireland, is responsible for this website and for the personal data collected through it.

What we collect and why

We collect only what you give us through the forms on this site, plus the technical data any website needs to run.

  • Contact form. Your name, email address and message, when you send the form. We use them to answer you about bookings and collaborations. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
  • Newsletter. Your email address, when you join “Stay in the vibe”. We use it to send you dates, lineups and after-movies from Vibez Emotion and Handz Up, our other event brand. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Cookies and pixels. Data about your visit, only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. We use it to see how the site is used and to show you our events on Instagram and Facebook. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Server logs. Your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, on every visit. We use them to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.

We do not sell tickets on this site. The ticket buttons take you to Eventbrite, which handles your purchase under its own privacy policy.

The “Join the Nest” button takes you to WhatsApp. If you join the group, other members can see your phone number and profile name, and WhatsApp’s own terms apply.

Cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel

Nothing that tracks you is switched on until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Deny, the site works the same way.

  • Necessary cookies remember your cookie choice. They are always on.
  • Statistics cookies come from Google Analytics. If you accept, they show us how many people visit, where they come from and which pages they open.
  • Marketing cookies come from the Meta Pixel. If you accept, Meta receives information about your visit, and we can show our events to you on Instagram and Facebook.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage consent” tab at the bottom of every page. We ask again after 6 months.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Deny.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that make this site and our emails work.

  • Mailchimp (Intuit, USA) stores our mailing list and sends our emails. It receives your email address, if you join the newsletter.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland) measures visits to this site. It receives data about your visit, only if you accept cookies.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland runs the Meta Pixel. It receives data about your visit, only if you accept cookies.
  • Hostinger hosts this website. It holds the server logs and the messages sent through the contact form.

Some of these companies process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: up to 12 months after our last reply.
  • Newsletter email address: until you unsubscribe, using the link in any of our emails.
  • Your cookie choice: 6 months, then we ask again.
  • Server logs: a short period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us, at any time and free of charge, to:

  • show you the data we hold about you
  • correct it if it is wrong
  • delete it
  • stop or limit how we use it
  • send it to you in a format you can take elsewhere

You can also withdraw a consent you gave: unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email, or change your cookie choice with “Manage consent”.

To use any of these rights, write to vibezemotion@gmail.com. We answer within one month.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date at the top.
